The Hon. Vickram Bharrat, M.P., brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to his role as Minister of Natural Resources. Minister Bharrat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Guyana and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Swiss School of Management in Switzerland. Appointed as Minister of Natural Resources on August 6, 2020, and as a Member of Guyana’s Twelfth Parliament on September 1, 2020, Minister Bharrat oversees critical sectors, including forestry, mining and the burgeoning petroleum industry. Minister Bharrat currently serves as a member of the PPP’s Central and Executive Committees.
