Wilmot Dudley Garnett has been the Representative of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) Office in Guyana since October, 2012. He is also the Regional Coordinator for the Caribbean. Wilmot joined IICA in 1999 and over the years served as a Specialist in Agricultural Health and Food Safety, Rural Development and Competitiveness at the Office in Belize. He holds an A.Sc. from the Belize College of Agriculture, a B.Sc. in Plant & Soil Sciences with a minor in Plant Pathology, and an M.Sc. in Plant and Soil Sciences with Specialization in Horticulture from California State Polytechnic University, California, USA.
